APAC Director / ED Valuations Methodology recruitment
Role is new headcount and ideally you will already be based in the region in a related role.
Remit:
- Undertake and strengthen valuation Price testing processes.
- Assist in the monthly valuation of equity and linked products.
- Improve the price testing database to better quantify the exposure
- Calculate reserves and assist in ensuring global consistency / strengthening provision policies.
- Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Valuations pack for Senior Management.
- Perform ad hoc reserve reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Financial Discipline Masters Degree. CFA, or MBA.
- Incumbent will have to display a solid ability to work closely on projects with his/her counterparts, possibly located in other regions
- Ability to work within several teams simultaneously and balance conflicting priorities.
- Must be proactive, and seek to drive the processes forward, to continually add value. This will involve working independently on self-contained tasks which will require the use of problem solving skills and the leveraging of resources
Candidate Credentials
- Desired strong mathematical/analytical ability
- Familiarity/Market experience with equities
- Proven background in risk management/controlling or valuation team
- Computing skills including Excel, VBA, Microsoft Access. .
