APAC Head of Sales/Operations/Low Latency/Electronic Trading recruitment

Our client is a very well positioned, VC backed and well-funded low latency provider. With a significant set-up in the US and a highly competitive offering incorporating connectivity, risk and market data, they look to expand into the Asian Pacific market by opening an office in Hong Kong.

Targeting both the buy and sell-side, they have an exciting offering and have generated incredible amounts of support and interest from the high velocity trading marketplace. Having generated considerable interest amongst prospects across the region, they now seek to hire someone to lead their sales effort in the region and drive the business forward. As the first person on the ground, the role will require someone to fill a hybrid position as they gain interest, momentum and build out the business.

They require someone who is highly entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, driven and passionate about the electronic trading marketplace. They require someone with a strong understanding of the low latency marketplace, ideally with experience selling a related or similar low latency offering or product. A thorough understanding around connectivity and low latency is paramount. They require someone with strong contacts in this marketplace and a level of experience in this field that would allow them to be ‘plug and play’ using their contacts and domain expertise.
