APAC Regional Director – Client On-Boarding – SINGAPORE recruitment
The Position:
As Regional Head of Client on boarding you will take responsibility for c. 150 heads across the region. Client Onboarding provides comprehensive Know Your Client New Account Opening, Client Services, Client Reference Data Analysis and Data Management solutions supporting, Global Markets and Global Transaction Banking, Corporate Finance and Asset Management. The Regional Head will have strategic oversight of the Client On-boarding processes in 16 countries. You will manage costs, budget and headcount and will drive process reengineering to improve data, systems, processes policies supporting Know Your Client, Periodic Review Client Reference Data. You will also lead the implementation of strategic technology platforms designed to streamline the on-boarding workflow that will provide a scalable and sustainable Client Onboarding operating model.
The Person:
- You will hold a Degree and ideally with a Compliance qualification
- You will have at least 10 years experience within financial services operations leading regional business teams
- You must have led process re-engineering programs successfully
- Project management experience either around process re-engineering or new system implementation
- Proven leadership and drive with the ability to develop, obtain agreement and lead the execution of the regional agenda
- Proven ability to maintain key stakeholder and business partner relationships
- Strong understanding of key risk and control issues relating to Know Your Client and Client Reference Data
- Strong or expert knowledge of APAC client AML/KYC requirements involving CIP, relevant client search and client KYC documentation to onboard a
