JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role focuses on managing, developing, and implementing Technology and Operations training programs in Investment Banking Technology and Operations.
· Responsible for partnering to design and implement global learning agenda while customizing for local needs regionally.
· Partners with Business Leaders to identify and prioritize education needs, determine project parameters, and ensure quality education solutions.
· Stays abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and LOB/client direction to anticipate and accommodate shifts in business needs and priorities.
· Partners with subject matter experts and vendors to translate business needs into learning requirements, ensures the right training solution is matched to the need, and leads the team to provide the appropriate solution.
· Establishes and maintains training vendor relationships and contracts.
· Partners with other training organizations in JPMorgan to leverage programs where appropriate.
· Manages extensive training budget and oversees production of metrics and team reports.
· Develops plan for measuring business impact of training.
· Conducts training evaluation to identify program impact, return of investment, and areas of improvement.
· Leads and manages a team of Training Professionals including proactive management of the team's performance (e.g. objective setting, development planning, providing constructive feedback, compensation planning, etc.)
· This position is a producer / manager position that will require management responsibilities along with project responsibilities. For example, project management support, training facilitation, instructional design work, etc.

Skills

REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Minimum of 7-10 years of training and development experience for Technologists/ Operations Personnel globally

· Minimum of 2 years global experience / management of global teams.

· Ability to quickly assess and accommodate shifts in the business environment and related needs and priorities
· Experience in performing needs assessments to identify skills gaps and determine the right solution (e.g. training, on-the-job development)
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast moving environment; project management experience desired
· Proven ability to execute in ambiguous situations
· Solid communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of leadership
· Ability to build partnerships/relationships with key stakeholders
· Strong training facilitation skills including classroom and virtual modes (e.g. Live Meeting, Adobe Connect)
· Familiarity or background in technology preferred
