Application Developer – Asset Management recruitment
They are developing a new standard integration platform based on MQ and building a lightweight service bus that will form the backbone of all data-flows within the business. The enterprise development team is responsible for the design and implementation of this core architectural component and the role is to join the existing team of 3 developers to develop and implement a completely new architecture from front to back.
The successful candidate will be required to provide expert guidance to the other development teams, help ensure that the developers follow/apply and use the patterns and components the enterprise development team generate, help development team to integrate data warehouse with their front office systems and to become a technical expert on their ESB and to provide mentoring support to the other teams so that they fully embrace the new architecture. All of this must be done in an open and agile way.
Applicants must have strong C# and XML (XSLT) skills and experience of systems integration using MQ and enterprise integration patterns is desirable as is experience with SQL applications. The candidate will be working in a small team who are committed to agile development principles and the delivery of quality code in short iterations. Experience of test driven development and continuous integration would be useful as would an Asset Management background.
