The developers build some of the systems that run the front-office of the FX E-Commerce business. In particular, these systems include pricing, trading, and order management. These systems must be highly available, highly scalable, and operate with the lowest possible latency.
The systems must handle high volumes of real-time data and be carefully tuned for performance. The developer is accountable for the overall success of the systems, including design, development, deployment, optimization, and day-to-day operation.
- An intimate knowledge of the algorithmic orders market in foreign exchange
- Knowledge and understanding of trading strategies
- Proficiency in Java development
- A foreign exchange trading knowledge at a Business Analyst level
- A proven track record of successful projects
- The ability to work and make progress independently
- Strong communication skills to work closely with trading and sales
- An intimate knowledge of the algorithmic orders market in foreign exchange
- Knowledge and understanding of trading strategies
- Java development
- Distributed systems development
- Python development
- Advanced degrees are preferred, but not required
