Application Development Analyst Job in Raleigh 27609, North Carolina Us

Our client in Raleigh, NC is currently seeking an Application Development Analyst for a 4 month contract opening.

In this position you will be responsible for:
• Designing and coding new features and enhancements
• Writing detailed specifications
• Completing thorough unit testing including using a de-bugger when possible to identify bugs during development
• Following established procedures for file management and backup, version control, coding, commenting the code, updating TFS and/or making entries in history files, and documenting error messages
• Working collaboratively and cohesively with all team members

Skill Requirements
• C# .NET experience with focus on Windows Forms development
• Experience with W.C.F, NHibernate and Windows Workflow a plus
• Experience with multi-tier/distributed systems a plus
• Significant Object-Oriented development experience in C++, Java or any .NET-aware language
• ADO.NET and SQL Server 2005/2008 experience
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum development process a plus
• Data Structures and Algorithms experience with solid understanding of relational database design
• Strong experience in Visual Studio
• Quick learner, self-starter with strong customer service, troubleshooting and communication skills
• Must exhibit a high-level of analytical skills and attention to details

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
Comparable IT industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree and certifications.
