As Applications Engineer, you will join a world class manufacturer that is building a competitive advantage in arena of highly energy-efficient products.
The position requires someone who can be the essential technical expert to customers and company sales/marketing, involving the design, application, and performance of their products.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to participate at customer presentations, prepare technical documents, and deliver technical training sessions to sales force and customers, among other critical responsibilities.
The development engineers will depend on you as well, to act as their liaison to the sales team, and to review customer specifications and make the best product recommendations.
You only need about three years experience as an applications engineer or in project management for a manufacturer of technical, electrical, electronic, or semiconductor-based product. Experience with SSL/LED or lighting technologies would be a plus. Bachelors degree in Engineering is a must; Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred.
