Application Infrastructure Services Analyst – Fund Manager
My prestigious fund manager, based in the City of London, is looking for an Operations Application Infrastructure Service Analyst to join their Support Team which sits under the business applications support area. This company offers a fantastic working environment and culture and it is a place where you can expect to develop your career and skills.
The main responsibility of the team is the Batch Support role which entails being a point of contact with regards to all scheduled processing including: messaging to third parties, automated file transfers, data loading and processing and reporting services and multiple applications.
There is also an expectation of basic business knowledge, as some of the support is business facing and applications like SharePoint and Qlikview are desirable, but not essential.
The correct candidate must be able to prioritise and work well as part of a team. Good communication skills are also important to ensure the regular face to face contact with users continues to take place.
A self-starter who is an analytical thinker and has the ability to pick up skills with ease will be ideal for this role.
SQL is an essential skill for this role.
The candidate must be able to do small scale development, bug fixing and have knowledge of the scheduling tool Control M. They must also have strong Cadis.
Other preferred technical skills are: Reporting Service 2008 and IBM MQ Series v6.0/7.5.
