Application Instrumentation Analyst

Position Description:
This position will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of Enterprise application and application infrastructure instrumentation (Monitoring) in a large scale environment. They will follow incident, problem, change, and request management processes. This position requires application instrumentation skills and experience for the purpose of developing application availability and application fault domain isolation instrumentation using several off-the-shelf tools. Skills in customer engagement, Incident and Problem management and Software Development Lifecycle are leveraged.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience with HP Site Scope (SIS) and/or HP Business Availability Center(BAC)/HP Business Service Management (BSM) and/or HP OVIS
- 3+ years Application instrumentation (monitoring) experience with a large corporate environment
- High School Diploma/GED + 5 years IT instrumentation experience OR Bachelor's Degree
Assets
- Experience within an Enterprise Instrumentation team developing and supporting instrumentation solutions utilizing HP Business Process Monitor (BPM)
- HP Business Availability Center (BAC/BSM) administration
- Software Development Lifecycle experience
- Perl Scripting experience
- Unix and or Windows system administration experience
- Network administration experience
- ITIL certification
