Application Sales Executive 4 - M2M

Primary responsibilities include identifying, defining, designing, and supporting advanced application platform solutions, mobile device management solutions, and mobile security solutions for Enterprise customers by leveraging the latest in mobility platforms and technologies as well as leveraging other parts of the ATT portfolio (e.g. hosting, synaptic services, telepresence, cloud computing, etc.) for the client in an industry transforming way. The candidate should be able to apply consultative selling skills to deeply understand workflow and identify business processes most dramatically impacted by real time access to information. In addition, the candidate should be able to demonstrate, from their own experience, delivery of successful transformational mobility solutions to business clients.

  • 7-10 years experience with demonstrated success in technology, applications and solutions sales.
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), Web Services, web/enterprise 2.0, Business Application Software (CRM, ERP, BI, SCM)
  • Strong understanding of business and technology trends - virtualization, cloud computing, unified communications, fixed mobile convergence, social networking, location-based services and relationship to advanced mobile applications.
  • Proven capabilities in working with customer executives to gather requirements, envision and craft innovative mobile solutions, and deliver as committed.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, selling, and interpersonal skills. Experience presenting at industry events a plus.
  • Ability to comfortably interact with executive leadership and frontline employees in customer organizations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mobility technologies (LTE, 3G, WiFi)
  • Effectively sell in complex environments with lengthy sales cycles and impact that sales cycle positively due to personal experience.
  • History of success in consultative/applications selling to large enterprise accounts.
  • Proven quota achievement acting in a Strategic, and/or Solution sales role
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed, virtual team.
  • Proven ability to transfer knowledge to others. Work well with a variety of other sales personnel and Mobility Application Solutions consultants.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry and work environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills which provide the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
