Founded in 1848, Rhodes College is a highly selective, private, coeducational, residential, undergraduate college, located in Memphis, Tennessee.
We invite applications for an Applications Specialist. This position is responsible for the design, analysis, maintenance and support of enterprise applications. Administers enterprise information systems and related applications. Assists students, staff, and faculty in the use of information technology. Integrates applications with existing systems inside and outside of the enterprise. Work within project teams and ad-hoc collaborations.
Bachelor’s degree required. Three years IT work experience with administrative software required. Experience with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server RDBMS systems preferred. Experience with SunGardHE Banner preferred. Programming experience helpful, specifically SQL and Visual Basic. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities, to solve problems and demonstrate leadership skills is required. Ability to relate well to the public is a must.
