Application Specialist
- Execute projects according to schedule, scope, and design
- Oversee activities of subcontractors to assure compliance with company standards and expectations
- Conducts routine service on computers, radios, high powered speaker arrays and low power speaker systems
- Upgrade routine service computer software, perform firmware upgrades
- Develop functional RF system per company standards and specifications including programming all equipment
- Assure performance and reliability through testing
- Troubleshoot existing systems to PCB board level
- Report daily to project management on project status
- Maintain inventory of equipment including shipping equipment to factory
- Manage customer returns RMA any/all surplus and or damaged equipment
- Function as a liaison between customer and project manager
- Prepare monthly reports for United States Army Contracting Command
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree and/or work experience equivalent
- Technical background in electrical, construction and/or computers
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, manuals and blueprintsAbility to work independently as well as a team environment. Also work closely with various departments to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient project timelines
- Ability to write reports, present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees or customers
- Must be a self starter, able to follow directions
- Be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
- Able to perform basic functions in AutoCAD
- Ability to work in high stress situations
- Update and Maintain project documentation, communicate project progress and perform orderly project closeout
- Must possess a US passport valid for at least two years from the time of hire
- Must have the ability to get secret clearance
- Must possess a valid US drivers license from any state
- Must pass an FBI background check

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, towers, work at heights up to 125 feet, stand, bend, kneel, walk for extended periods throughout the day, and perform overhead work.
- Be able to operate Hi-Lift equipment
- Field work environment involves moderate to loud noise due to equipment, Speaker Arrays, Engines, etc. Must be able to work in adverse weather; cold, wind, and heat
- Able to travel as needed to other Middle Eastern locations
