The Role:
The Trading Solutions Group is seeking a cross asset derivatives Application Specialist with in-depth product knowledge. You will be joining a rapidly expanding specialised area of Bloomberg focused on offering premium cross asset derivatives portfolio valuation services and an advanced risk platform to our client base.
As an Application Specialists for Bloomberg in charge of the business development in Americas, you will help develop our services, the associated sub products and supervise our different Sell and Buy Side accounts.
The candidates should have recent experience at a Dealer or top Hedge Fund in cross asset derivatives or at a top tier software vendor specialized in the area. Experience using Bloomberg, and knowledge of other derivative pricing platforms is a plus.
The candidates will be working with people external clients (traders, sales, buy side, institutional investors) as well as internal financial engineering teams, trading, and our sales force. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding, client driven environment.

Responsibilities:
-Directly impacting sales by on-site meetings with clients and prospects, presenting unique Bloomberg cross asset derivatives portfolio valuation and risk services.
-Managing the opportunities by our sales force leads and engaging business management in the process when needed.
-Providing high-level analytical expertise to clients and our sales force.
-Developing and maintaining client relationships including dedicated support.
-Formulating responses to queries from prospects and clients, in the form of informal requests or more formal RFI/RFP documents.
-Influencing the direction of our services by providing feedback to Bloomberg’s business managers on user demand, service enhancements, and development specifications.

Qualifications:
-Proven track record in showcasing complex solutions and products to the financial industry in the appropriate region.
-10+ years’ experience and knowledge in cross asset derivatives is required.
-Proven knowledge of complex derivative valuation techniques is a must.
-Knowledge about risk management principles and associated methodologies (Greeks, VaR, CVA ) as well as applicable regulations (Dodd Frank, EMIR, UCITS, AIFMD ) is a must.
-Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills.
-University finance degree or equivalent required.
-Fluent spoken and written English is required.
-Fluency in a second language is highly desirable.
-Willingness to travel.
