Application Support – Equity/ FIX recruitment
Our client is a leading global financial institution that is looking to make a strong application support hire for cash equity system and FIX connectivity.
Responsibilities of the role:
- As part of the application support team supporting 10 equities traders on all their application issues.
- Responsible for being the first point of contact, troubleshooting, system enhancements and the technical expert for production support.
- Running morning checks and monitor orders throughout the day.
- Test and sign-off new system enhancements on trading systems
- Build and maintain tools to assist with production support.
Requirements of the role:
- 5+ years application support experience with Cash Equity order management systems (OMS) and FIX Connectivity
- Must have worked for the banking and financial sector directly support traders as a front-office production support.
- Proven experience of FIX Protocol and electronic order routing.
- Very strong technically with Unix, Scripting and SQL with additional knowledge of Excel/ VBA
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Eligible to work in Hong Kong.
