THE COMPANY
A leading provider buy and sell side trading technology to major financial institutions globally is looking to recruit an application support analyst. Their applications are some of the most sophisticated currently on the market and provide rich functionality for professional traders. They are now an established name and compete with systems from the likes of TT, Portware and Pat systems.
THE ROLE
You will be working in a team of 6 support analyst providing support to major client with both business and technical issues. You will take issues from initial client contact through to issues resolution with the help of senior team members and developers depending on the severity of the issue.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responding to client issues via telephone and email
* Ensuing issues are resolved in swift and efficient manner
* Ensuring a high level of customer service at all times
* Supporting order entry, risk management and exchange connectivity issues
* Document and track case histories
* Work with new client to assist with the deployment and configuration of the applications
* Manage the distribution and installation of software enhancements
REQUIREMENTS
* Previous experience supporting electronic trading systems
* Good skills with UNIX, preferably Linux; Redhat, Solaris
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Knowledge of financial instruments such as Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income or FX
