A leading provider of electronic trading systems to major financial services organisations is looking for an application support analyst with SQL, FIX protocol and UNIX/Linux skills to join their team in London.
You will work alongside other high calibre support analysts who will help you to develop your skills and knowledge in providing top class customer support. My client's solutions regularly win industry awards and there are known to the industry as a market leading provider.
Their products compete with companies such as TT, RTS, Stellar, Easy Screen etc and they continually invest to improve the functionality of their solutions to stay ahead of the market.
As an Application support analyst - electronic trading, equities, derivatives, SQL, FIX, Linux, UNIX. £35-50k + bonus + benefits - your responsibilities will include:
* Responding to client support request and analysing issues
* Provide temporary or permanent resolution or escalate issues to development
* Ensure support issues are documented and tracked
* Roll out patches and updates
* Attend client meeting where required to discuss support issues
* Contribute your knowledge help improve my client's solutions

To be considered for the role of Application support analyst - electronic trading, equities, derivatives, SQL, FIX, Linux, UNIX - you must have the following skills and experience:
* Financial knowledge of equities and/or derivatives
* SQL skills
* UNIX / Linux skills
* A background in electronic trading support
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong client facing skills
