Application Support Analyst (FIX) recruitment

The Company

Our client is a US based multi national agency broker firm that provides electronic trading services to the financial services industry. They are currently looking for an application support analyst with strong FIX experience to join their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the daily support of the firm's order routing systems. You will be working closely with a team that focuses on the all the firm's electronic order routing (FIX) and crossing infrastructure where by it is central to all the daily trading activities supporting connectivity to
many brokers and exchange venues. You will also be supporting both internal and external clients and be expected to daily troubleshoot and tackle technical issues in a fast pace trading environment. Other duties will include being a be a main point of contact for system and production support issues, user acceptance testing,
manage upgrades and enhancements.

Your Profile

You will be a degree holder with at least 5 years of IT experience in a similar role. FIX, UNIX and Windows knowledge is a must have for the position along with excellent communication skills speaking clear fluent English. You will be flexible and be able to work under pressure and in a fast pace environment. Good knowledge of FIX protocol and understanding of order-routing trading life cycle is
essential.
