Basic Functions: Responsible for provision of comprehensive practice management information systems support in the ambulatory settings of Physician Practices and designated Community Medical Centers; to include delivery of practice management system user training; user support call triage, analysis, resolution and escalation; participation in training program development and maintenance of user documentation; software upgrade application testing, security administration and other responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree Should have minimum 5 years experience in a medical practice setting Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of personal computer applications to include MS Excel and MS Word required Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Management Science, Business or Health Care discipline preferred Strongly prefer experience in setup, training and support of computer applications in a health care environment Working knowledge of health insurance billing forms; ICD-9 coding, CPT-4 coding, explanation of benefits documents and medical terminology strongly preferred Procedural knowledge of health insurance billing and follow-up, reimbursement and regulatory compliance strongly preferred.
