The Company
Our client is a European based Investment Management firm who are looking for a trading application support associate to join their team
The Role
Reporting to the VP your main task is to support the trading desk and all the application technology required for Algo/Program/Cash Trading (Order management systems, market data platforms various communication tools). You will be working directly with the traders on the floor in identifying and resolving trading issues and working with the global support team to ensure smooth flow of knowledge and manage first level issues. Also you will be frequently liaising with vendors on various application issues and projects and
working with business heads on new technology initiatives
Your Profile
You will be a degree holder in Computer Science with at least 4 years of relevant banking experience in a trading application support role. Solid knowledge in FIX based electronic order routing is a must. Experience with Order Management System such as FIDESSA will be an advantage. Excellent communication skills in fluent English is essential too.
