IT Application Support/Migration Manager
Top Tier Banking organization currently looking for a seasoned support manager to work on an application migration from Legacy systems to a new in-house bespoke system from an RTB/BAU perspective.
Working within a Global team the individual shall have the responsibility for supporting the stakeholders (business) through the changes in the system.
You shall also be charged with managing new requests, overseeing the testing/preparation of the applications ready for the W7 upgrade. Stakeholder engagement shall be paramount to the role and regular interaction with the business will be an essential part of the role.
Key Duties/Requirements include:
Improving Service Delivery/Processes - utilising the teams skills and building a more efficient operating model.
Project Management
Knowledge Management/distribution - training and cataloguing key knowledge
Excellent Communication
Stakeholder Engagement
Solid IT Background/Comes from a Banking IT Background
Skills:
- Exposure/experience of high-pressure - complex technical environments.
- IB experience ideally within Risk, Treasury or Rates.
- Experience of working in a globally distributed team - managing both directly and through Matrix management.
- Worked on large applications and grid computing.
- ITIL awareness
Preferred
- Understanding of the full SDLC
- Delivery and transition of major projects from development to production.
- Successful implementation of remedial changes.
- Successful analysis of complex IT and business issues.
- Self priortisation of multiple critical issues/projects.
