Due to the continued success of the business and growth in customer base, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Software Support Analyst to join there team. This application support role will require you to provide 1st and 2nd line support on front office financial trading platforms as well as market data systems. You will be required to troubleshoot and perform system health checks on the systems directly with the clients over the telephone and via email.
To be a success within this role you should have at least 1 year experience within an application support role whilst also having worked within a finance institution preferably supporting the front office. From a technical perspective you will be required to have strong UNIX commands knowledge and a good understanding of SQL. Strong understanding of a scripting language such as shell and exposure to C++ would also be extremely beneficial for the role.
Due to the nature of the role you will be expected to have fluent English and ideally fluent Cantonese. You must also be prepared to do some shift work or out of office hours support for this role. The role itself is paying up to 300K HKD per annum plus a discretionary bonus. There are great career growth opportunities within this role.
