Application Support recruitment

2nd line application support across a variety of products. Troubleshooting logged errors in a rapid and punctual fashion.

 Communicating directly with customers to establish problem details

 Give technical support and advice to clients and internally

 Escalate problems when necessary

 Support existing products and development and integration of new products.

Required experience:

Application software troubleshooting experience

Client facing/support experience

Experience in raising development bugs

SQL experience

Strong Windows and Unix skills

Good scripting experience (preferably including PERL).

Programming experience in one or more of Java/C++/Perl/Python

Web architecture ( HTTP, XML, XSL, Apache etc. )

IP networking ( Firewall, Routers, DNS etc.)

Language: Fluent written and spoken Japanese is a must; Fluent English
