Application Support Specialist recruitment
This is one of the America’s largest financial institutions with 280,000 team members, #2 in banking deposits and #4 in total assets in the U.S. They are looking for an Application Support Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities:
• provide production application and system support to Reconciliation Financial Controls’ systems
• respond to a variety of requests from users, partners and vendors regarding the system and processes surrounding the systems
• research issues and look for causes, develop and implement resolutions while maintain an on-time service delivery with appropriate follow up
• support and assist business partners with Business Continuity Exercises
• participate in software testing and reviewing results
• develop recommendations to correct deficiencies and improve the technical processes
Requirements:
• degree in Computer Science or relevant studies with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experiences
• good command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin preferred
• knowledge of Java and ASP.net
• knowledge of J2EE, JMS, MQ preferable
• hands on experience in Microsoft Office SQL, Oracle, triggers and stored procedures
• ability to work on flexible hours, this includes, overtime, shift hours, Public Holidays or weekends
