Application Systems Analyst Job in London, London UK

·         Master level in supporting business critical applications. Supports complex applications projects requiring specialized technical knowledge. Leads the most complex and business critical applications requiring integration across functions with broad impact on the Bank’s business processes. Leads and oversee’s the helpdesk/technical support function and assist Business users with their technical support needs. 

·         Contributes strategic insight and provides feedback on a wide range of ideas based on support experience.

·         Providing technical leadership proactively contributing to the ongoing support activity practice and creates/updates metrics to effectively manage outsourcing partner and other vendor performance. 

·         Partner effectively with other functional groups within and outside of the UK to continuously improve processes that enable more reliable applications. 

·         Assist and lead with the ongoing Incidents impacting Business applications. 

·         Proactively develop and lead initiatives for improving support practice.

·         Actively participate in developing annual and quarterly resource plans.

·         Provide coaching and mentorship and supervision to other junior members in the team and IT business partners, both in the UK and globally

·         Play a key role in representing Application Support   

·         Recognized across the organization for systems expertise and sought as a resource for resolution of unique or complex information technology issues.
