Overview of Role
Work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and quality assurance activities. Devise or modify robust test plans to ensure that objectives are met without causing unforeseen or undesirable outcomes. Provide guidance and training to less experienced Quality Assurance Test Analysts.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Epic Clinical Application team, the candidate will perform workflow/application analysis, design, create and execute both Unit and Integrated test plans. The candidate will take part in end-user "on call" support. The candidate will be expected to consult and collaborate with customers to define, clarify and interpret application requirements for complex enhancements and projects. With regards to analysis, design and test execution, the ideal candidate will be able to perform their duties independently, with minimal supervision or as appropriate on integrated projects. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner demonstrating their ability to establish and adhere to realistic timelines.
Knowledge/Skills
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Knowledge of specific languages and tools used in the applicable technical environment; understanding of computer programming languages and system design concepts; logic and analytical ability; communication, organizational, interpersonal and project management skills. Specific systems, applications or business area knowledge and systems analysis and design.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience Minimum Experience Requirements
5 years of experience using and maintaining applications software.
Preferred Experience 8 years of software testing.
License/Certifications Preferred License/Certifications
EpicCare Ambulatory, Epic Inpatient Orders, Epic ASAP or EpicRX certification(s).
