Position Requirements:
Fitch Ratings has an opportunity for an experienced, self-starting senior software engineer who can apply his or her skills to a variety of critical projects supporting a global community of users. The ability to learn and adopt new technologies and skills is essential, and experience as a mentor to others will be helpful.

Responsibilities
• Participate in object oriented design, development and testing of Core Java/J2EE applications;
• Develop systems and sub-systems using both new and existing technologies;
• Re-engineer mission critical systems and core components to align with new strategic plans;
• Support and extend existing SOA components in ESB/BPEL;
• Additional projects and assignments as assigned

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree; Computer Science concentration preferred
• 7+ years of development experience in the financial services industry
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work both independently and as a team with resources across the globe on a number of cutting-edge initiatives
• Experience with Core Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Spring MVC, Web Services, JMS/Queues, JBoss, Tomcat, Javascript, Ajax/JSON, Basic PL/SQL, Eclipse required
• Experience with Maven, SVN, MongoDB, ANT, BPEL/ESB, WebLogic 11g, JBoss 4+, JUnit a plus
