Applications Developer Job in Bismarck 58503, North Dakota US

Opportunity to take over a project that is written in C#/.net and be able to get it working on computer and show resolved issues and/or create new development within it.  Amount of work this project will yield depends on how much efficient progress is made and need to stay within budget. Company has provided all of the pieces/parts of the program, but need someone that knows .net and C# to make it work/function or how to develop/deploy new changes. Seeking a person who is experienced in .net and knows at least one of the .net languages (preferably C# "Sharp", but Visual Basic.net would be an alternative choice).

Primarily, will assist on initially getting these "pieces and parts" working and functional, demonstrate how to deploy changes to the client's program, and then upon approval from client, start doing some development with direction. Projects would likely be spotty at first but could eventually become on-going depending on client's budget and success of completing each project, part-time at best.

*Friendly, courteous attitude with a willingness to take direction.
*Thorough and attention to detail is a must (This work will be going into a very sensitive client and need to be careful not to be sloppy.

*Speed is important to get keep under budget, but accuracy and good work is more important to avoid errors/mistakes.
*Willingness to work remotely or on-site (at a home in Bismarck) as needed.
*Availability to work during the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday for at least a portion of the time (It is expected that he/she may not be available for the full length of the day or every day, but need some availability during normal business hours and then as things progress there may be time that can be spent outside of these hours at own discretion.)
*Experience and knowledge in the .net (dot net) framework. Need somebody who is experienced, trained, and has actively worked with and deployed applications within it. Not a novice or somebody who has only rarely worked in the environment. Timeframe for experience unknown, but expect at least a year of active working in it would be necessary to be at the level needed.
*Experience and knowledge of either C# "Sharp" (preferred) or Visual Basic.net (alternate). At least one year experience and knowledge of the language.
*At least 2 years of programming experience in any language.
*Familiarity with Microsoft Access would be a plus but not a requirement (this would only come into play if other work in Access that he/she could do or if review is needed on how a feature works in a related access program and translate it to the .net program (since the project in .net is based off a program originally written in Microsoft Access)

*Experience/knowledge of "MySQL".

*Experience/knowledge of "Crystal Reports".
