1. Roles Responsibilities - include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives This position is for a ITC location lead within the Pyramid Transaction Processing team. Pyramid is a suite of applications used to process and risk manage derivatives transactions. Pyramid is used by the Credit, Equity, Commodity and Interest rate derivatives businesses globally. The trade processing applications are responsible for trade capture, position management and feeds to downstream systems such as accounting and legal documentation. Technologies used include Visual C++, Java and Sybase. The PTP Transaction managementTeams are responsible for continuing development of inbound and outbound feeds, event processing, database transactions, and reporting. The current teams consists of 23 people led by 2 global Build Managers. Key responsibilities will be across the entire project lifecycle, including: · Local management of India teams - delivery oversight, mentoring, technical reviews, coachin of teams/projects managed at ITC · Hands on SQL and Java development · Liaising with business analysts to design and implement system solutions in response to business demands · Constructing and executing comprehensive system testing of changes · Liaising with the test, environments and packaging teams to ensure successful regression testing and promotion to production · Liaising with the Operate support teams and contributing to "3 rd level" support · Taking ownership for work and quality of delivery The successful candidate can expect to develop: · A good understanding of derivatives trade processing across assets (Equity, Credit, Commodities) · Expanded technical skills through working with a highly talented development team · Experience of working in a global team on a global application with several thousand users This is an exciting role which will allow the right candidate to improve on their technical skills and business knowledge.
