Position Description:
Hardware Engineer – SERDES Electrical Characterization
This is a internal applications engineering position for characterization of Marvell's Phys which are used in numerous products within Marvell. The majority of this position's tasks are based on lab work with bench test equipment like oscilloscopes, BERTs, VNA's, Spectrum Analyzer. This role requires strong communication skills both written and verbal.
The applicant will be responsible for the following activities:
1. Creation of test plans for characterization and compliance testing of Marvell’s transceivers.
2. Implementation of automated testing suites to carry out test plans.
3. Development of improved methods of device characterization including custom measurements.

Qualifications:
Prefer MSEE (Or BSEE with relavant experience)
Experience with Signal Integrity test equipment and usage (Oscilloscopes, BERTs, VNA, TDR)
Strong communications and documentations skills are necessary.
