This is a great opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in embedded software and computer architecture who wants to see customers designing with NetLogic's multi-core processors up close.
As an Applications Engineer you will be responsible for product expertise in state of art multi-core processor family, developing embedded software tools to analyze complex system-on-chip behavior, and interacting with customers and fellow engineers to solve system-level problems.
The multi-disciplinary programming will span from device-level configuration, to performance benchmarking, to creating customer demos using networking stack APIs. Customer-interfacing activities include assisting sales team in technical communications, in-depth product training, and technical problem solving.

Requirements:
- 1 to 5 years of experience in Application or Design Engineering
- Computer Science degree/BSEE or equivalent
- C Programming Proficiency
- Intimate knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux or related)
- SMP experience is a plus
- Device driver experience is a plus
- Knowledge of CPU architecture is a plus
- Strong communication skills
