APPLICATIONS SALES LEADER Job in 2113, New South Wales Australia

This is a key senior role that has direct responsibility for the growth of applications business in the assigned territory. The Applications Sales Leader will spearhead the formulation of key applications(CRM Contact Center Softwares) business growth strategies and be accountable for its successful execution. The Application Sales Leader will demonstrate strong sales funnel management skills and will also lead the engagement in strategic opportunities and provide the sales leadership towards securing these projects.

Avaya has a matrix organization and this role will require strong collaborative skills and teamwork across business units including Channels, Services and other Solution teams.

Ideally you should have at least 15 years experience of more in sales or business development in the Software Applications / IT industry with a successful and consistent track record in leading sales teams to close high value, complex applications contracts preferably in Contact Centre and Customer Relationship Management and strong focus on execution, accountability, customer skills and relationships

You will also have the ability to engage at CxO levels and be able to establish relevance, Demonstrable ability to penetrate into new accounts and maintain strong funnel management skills, you should demonstrable strong software / application sales background with consultative selling skills and have the ability to establish customer segmentation, positioning and competitive strategies and tactics to win against the competition
