Pay rate:  Depends on Experience and Certifications ($48k and up)

Our Application Systems Engineers must have an extremely good knowledge of all desktop user applications. In addition, they must be well-rounded technical professionals with a broad range of IT experience. We are seeking a seasoned IT professional who possesses excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities. In order to be successful in this position, you must be able to listen carefully to the customer, understand their issues, and consistently implement the right set of solutions.  You must be highly organized, and have a high level of interpersonal intelligence.

Actions and Results:

 

·         Resolve complex technical problems on new and existing systems including installations and upgrades of desktop and server hardware, software, storage and networking products

·         Ensure compliance with company technical and quality standards/procedures in order to achieve the highest degree of customer satisfaction

·         Solve or escalate technology problems within the parameters of company policies and procedures

·         Develop and maintain client relationships, and identify opportunities to extend existing agreements

·         Maintain effective communication with internal resources and with customers

·         Complete required documentation for all service calls and projects, and provide updates in real time

·         Work independently to complete assigned issues and tasks

·         Perform duties after hours and on weekends as scheduled during maintenance periods or during special projects

·         Perform prescheduled duties “on call” when needed
