Applications Technician Job in Southfield 48034, Michigan Us
Postition is in the lab, preparing coatings test panels/parts, performing tests, recording results. Candiate will need to be able to maintain and adjust equipment per the spray requirements for testing, as well as use the equipment to apply the pain to test substrates.
1) Prepare automotive coatings test panels/parts using automated application equipment.
2) Accurately perform equipment metrology/preventative maintenance and coatings tests.
3) Appropriately priortize work and maintain accurate records.
4) Proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Preferred candidates will have chemical/technical education (BS degree preferred) or RELEVANT lab experience (QA/QC coatings testing). 3 to 5 years experience with automated application equipment on a production line is a plus, but not required!
