Job Description: Applications Technologist 2 This position supports the IT and Facilities organization in a customer service capacity. This job requires working directly with employees in a wide variety of tasking requests. General assignments will vary from delivering and setting up computer and communications systems to basic troubleshooting application and computer hardware issues. Additional tasking will include maintaining physical inventory and asset tracking of office equipment, documenting work flow processes, and escorting contractors. Facilities support will include general building maintenance and repairs, moving furniture, supporting office equipment changes, and other duties as assigned by management. Require Skills : A minimum of 2 years computer experience supporting either Windows or Linux OS Previous customer service experience with high performance reviews Must be detail oriented Familiarity with a help desk support ticketing systems Experience working independently Excellent troubleshooting skills Excellent organization skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to perform basic facility maintenance and repair tasks Must be proficient with current MS Office products Desired Skills: Previous experience supporting an engineering organization Windows or Linux OS administration experience Experience setting up and troubleshooting printers in a networked environment A+ Certification Education: Associates degree in Computer Science or related field or appropriate Information Technology certifications required. Experience in lieu of degree or certifications will be considered.
