Applications Training Officer
Provide Windows 7 and Office 2010 Training for Major Upgrade Project
Fixed 12 month contract - Possible Extension

Hays IT are working with a well-known Not-For-Profit Organisation in the Western Suburbs. With over 30 different offices in the West and North Sydney areas this successful institute is currently undergoing a large scale IT upgrade to Windows 7 and MS Office 2010
An experienced Applications Training and Support Officer is required for a fixed 12 month contract to assist with the upgrade of the MS Office suite of applications. Reporting to a Training Support Manager the successful applicant will need recent experience supporting and delivering training in Windows 7 and MS Office 2010
Responsibilities will include:
- Schedule, promote, prepare and conduct IT Application training across all staff
- Create and assist with the updating and maintenance of training material, manuals and aids.
- Identifying gaps in skills, documenting recommendations and conducting appropriate training and development to staff.
- Scheduling and presenting orientation programs for Staff
- Liaise and help the ICT Service desk in providing high level application support and assistance to all users as required.
To be considered for this superb opportunity candidates must have their own transport as training will be delivered from a number of sites covering Northern Sydney. You will also need:
- Extensive experience providing designing, developing and conducting upgrade training to Windows 7 and Office 2010 from a XP / Office 2003 environment.
- Exposure to SharePoint will be highly regarded
- Recognised workplace training qualification.
- Solid understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Capacity for cross training in other business software application products. HR and Payroll will be highly regarded
