We are actively seeking a bright, outgoing, and driven individual to embark on an exciting journey into a career in the IT sector. We are offering professional training through an apprenticeship scheme where you will learn and gain professional certificates including:

 

1.    Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence

2.    Level 3 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles for Apprentices

3.    Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook

4.    CompTIA A+ certification

5.    Microsoft Networking Fundamentals certification

6.    Microsoft Windows 7, Configuring certification

7.    Microsoft Windows 7, Enterprise DST certification


This learning will be completed at our IT Academy where you will be guided through the professional certificates. This is a 36 week long course and upon completion you will become a certified technician, you will also receive the opportunity to progress throughout the company you are placed with during the apprenticeship, to build a career in IT.

The employers who you will be placed with are looking for someone who can take up an office junior’s role and develop their skills and knowledge in IT. You will complete both software and hardware tasks along with dealing with 1st line support with customers. This 1st line support can vary between telephone and email support so candidates must be articulate with a professional attitude. Within this role you will also test specific software for individual issues and have the responsibility to provide data migration for customers who are updating their systems. It may also be beneficial if you have some experience in programming as there will be opportunities for you to take part in programming work for both the employer and customers.
