Apps Dev Manager
Responsibilities:
This position is for the AP Tech Project Manager of the Citi Private Bank.
Delivery Management:
- End to End management of the Software Development Cycle for major enhancements and regional fixes to the application
- Conduct Requirements Analysis, Software Estimations, Design Reviews, Test Case Reviews, Root Cause Analysis, and Support of User Testing and Production fixes
Consultant Management:
- Direct and Indirect management of onsite and offshore vendors towards delivery and support of the system
Relationship Management:
- Ability to work with Business Project Team and End users to deconstruct problems and provide effective technology solutions
- Ability to work effectively, influence and manage Technology and Business Partners who do not share the same reporting lines
- Business Analysis
- Ability to work with Business and Technology teams to analysis business needs and provide effective technology solutions.
Requirements:
- At least 5-8 years of Experience in Software Development, with 2-3 years of Project Management experience preferred, ideally in the Financial Services Industry
- Private Banking is a plus
- In depth knowledge and experience in technical details of building Enterprise Web based applications. (J2EE, SOA, Oracle, UNIX, Weblogic)
- Sound knowledge and experience in Information Technology Project Management, preferably of large-scale banking business applications
- Excellent analytical, communications, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Banking/Securities/Capital Markets products and Finance Systems
- Wealth Management business and applications knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work as a Team Manager as well as an Individual Contributor
