Apps Dev Technical Specialist recruitment
Responsibilities:
Manages and delivers continuous process of product development releases and supporting several releases at the same time with development, design, business analyst and deployment teams.
Continuous Improvement of Development Release Management:
- Manages process to ensure processes evolve and are measurable over time
- Develops senior management communications and presentations
- Develops work plans, schedules, and status reports and communicates with senior management and project team on project status
- Coordinates activities on release management improvements to meet the common release roadmap and concurrent projects
- Works closely with other stakeholders to monitor and manage release and process improvement opportunities
- Reviews deliveries from the team and provides technical guidance
- Identifies and implements process improvements proposals and participates in global release process improvement initiatives
- Assess impact to all process areas of process improvement proposals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT and 6 years of experience in product development and release management
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels in particular senior business managers
- Demonstrates thought-leadership, initiative, independence, and willingness to learn
- Ability to lead and work with teams across multiple locations and time zones
- Strong relationship management skills to build enduring and productive alliances across Citi
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of IBM mainframe, CICS, Cobol, Eztrieve, MQ
- Strong knowledge of DB2, VSAM
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as Omegamon / CA Detector
