Apps Support Senior Analyst recruitment
Responsibilities:
Systems provide trade capture for both internal and external customers and encompass real-time pricing, risk management, as well as reporting and analysis functions to the Global FX business groups.
The candiate would be expected to provide support functions for a number of production applications. Including logging and resolving user queries, software release activities, problem management and ensuring ongoing platform stability. Job Background/context: The Global Foreign Exchange business operates on a twenty four hour basis, covering trading centres in Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America. The Singapore operation currently provides the support functions for the Europe and North American trading centres, as well as associated middle and back office groups. The candidate should be prepared to work the hours necessary to support the business demands.Role to work the hours necessary to provide onsite 2nd line support to the Asia Pac FX trading business groups.
- Day to day desk support to the front office traders
- Trouble shoot and analyze the problem reported
- Perform root cause analysis for the issues reported
- Keep track of the problems and ensure they are addressed on a permanent basis
- Interact with the development team in providing resolution to the traders
- Ensure system availability and stability during business hours Development Value: This role offers excellent opportunity to work directly with the traders. Requirements:
Knowledge/Experience:
- Knowledge of the financial industry in relation to Fixed Income or Foreign Exchange is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in the field of Application Support is also preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Windows OS
- Database (MSSQL/Oracle/Sybase/Other RDBMS) Qualifications: Graduate caliber preferable or demonstrable Application Support experience

- Interact with the traders and provide quality support
- Interact with the development teams to further understand issues and take them to closure Competencies: Strong communication skills, Self motivated and a Self starter
