APP/SYSTEMS ANALYST, SENIOR Job in Worcester, Massachusetts Us
Senior Applications Analyst (Revenue Cycle) - UMass Memorial Health Care is currently embarking on the implementation of Soarian, a new Core Hospital Information System consisting of both Revenue Cycle and Clinical Applications to all facilities in the UMass Memorial Health Care enterprise. Soarian is part of a larger organizational initiative, Cornerstone, representing UMass Memorial Health Care's journey to be connected and to be paperless. We are seeking an experienced Applications/Systems Analyst to join our team to implement and support the new application suite.
Qualified candidates will have five plus years experience deploying and supporting applications in a healthcare setting. We are searching for a self starter with strong interpersonal, analytical and critical thinking skills who is comfortable communicating with all levels of personnel. Candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and have an aptitude to adapt quickly to change.
Position will reside at the Department of Information Services offices at the Worcester Business Center, in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Position Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required. Over 5 years and up to and including 7 years of experience.
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Proficiency with MS Office advanced applications, Project and Access preferred. Experience with Crystal is a plus.
* Experience with Revenue Cycle Applications, Patient Access, Patient Accounting, Contract Management required; experience implementing and/or supporting Soarian Financials is a plus.
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
