APS 3/4 - Mail Recruitment Officer

Our client is looking for an experience APS 3/4 Mail Recruitment Officer. The position will be offered for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension for a total period of up to 12 months. The level offered will be based on an assessment of the knowledge and work experience of the successful candidate and their ability to achieve outcomes related to the duties.

Qualifications and Skills required:
- Australian Citizenship
- Experience in public sector recruitment and selection practices would be an advantage
- Experience in providing a wide range of office and resource management services
- Ability to develop productive working relationships and work well as a member of a team
- Ability to conduct research efficiently and provide reliable and accurate advice
- Ability to organise workload, undertakes a variety of tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicates effectively with staff at all levels
Duties:
- Assist with general office services including a mail service and courier duties
- Arrange maintenance of office equipment and manage office supplies including purchasing (paper, stationery, toner etc)
- Assist with building maintenance, accommodation requirements and monitoring physical security services
- Assist other ACT Resources staff as required
- Assignment of duties and promotions administration
- Co-ordinate local OHS arrangements e.g. workplace assessments
- Specific recruitment and selection processes for non-SES staff typically involving:
Preparation of documentation, advertising and offers of employment
On-line recruitment tool
Inducting new employees
