BUYER
Aquatic Buyer Drs. Foster Smith, the leading direct marketer of pet products located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin, is seeking applicants to fill an aquarium supply buying position in our merchandising department. Candidates with retail or mail order purchasing experience, general aquarium knowledge and a minimum four year degree are highly desired as a buyer of aquarium supply products. The candidate must possess good interpersonal skills, problem solving initiative, the ability to work in a fast paces environment, good math skills, computer familiarity, and excellent communication abilities. Some responsibilities for this position include maintaining budgeted inventory levels, tracking vendor performance, monitoring product quality and frequent communication with suppliers.
