Job Description Ecology is a core business within AECOM's Environment Group, with a team of dedicated specialists in our Brisbane and North Queensland offices, supporting AECOM's operations throughout Queensland. Our business which is involved with large infrastructure projects particularly with oil gas, mining, roads, rail, power, defence, and port facilities across Queensland requires the services of an Aquatic Ecologist . Key responsibilities: Undertake baseline aquatic surveys Aquatic monitoring Assist with permitting processes Advise clients on aquatic ecology related matters Work closely with the internal team members and project managers Write reports Combination of field and office work Requirements: Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or other relevant degree 5+ years of hands-on experience working as an aquatic ecologist Previous consulting experience would be ideal Knowledge of relevant Queensland environmental legislation Current driving licence
