AR Collection Coordinator Job in Trevose 19048, Pennsylvania US
The TRICARE Beneficiary AR –Collection Coordinator position is responsible for the accurate and timely posting of receipts of healthcare premiums from beneficiaries and for actively participating in the account reconciliation process in coordination with external contractors WPS and MEDPROTECT.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all cash applications including check, wire, ACH, and credit cards payments on a timely and accurate basis.
- Down load previous day transaction from the bank and reconcile with previous day receipts., Return wire/ACH, Deposits and NSF checks
- Work with internal management and external contractors WPS and MEDPROTECT to resolve cash application issues with the customers, including refund of over payments or duplicate payments.
- Work directly with beneficiaries on premium payment management and discrepancy resolution via telephone, mail and email correspondence
- Responsible for reconciliation of internal payment logs against WPS financial system reports
- Manage TYA mailbox, email inquiries and telephone inquiries on inbound and outbound basis and create internal correspondence summary reports for management
- Complete special projects/other assignments as requested by management.
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in accounting or five years relevant experience required
- Knowledge of accounts receivable or collection experience preferred.
- Knowledge of general accounting practices is required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain government ADP-2 systems clearance access
