Architect
Telecoms / Network Architect Barnwood
Our Client, one of the UK’s largest Energy Producers is now looking for a contract based Architect with experience of Telecoms or Networks Infrastructures to work from their base in Gloucestershire. The Architect should be experienced in systems analysis and desing and should be capable of contributing to a strategic architecture definition. The work will involve liaison with customers, peers and suppliers, working as part of project teams to deliver working architectural designs against the team objectives. You will have an appreciation of all aspects of system and product lifecyles and will be expected to take a lead security architect role in projects, developing the strategies and providing high level technical support.
Key Requirements
· Skilled in Systems Analysis and design
· Architect experienced in working aes a Telecoms / Network Architect or as an Infrastructure Architect for Networks or Telecoms
· Able to work under minimal supervision and a proactive approach to work
· Adept at providing constructive feed back on design proposals which have been submitted for review
· Proficient at designing solutions based on customer requirements
· Able to perform lead architect role when required
· Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a multi-skilled project team, and be able to meet demanding milestones
· Knowledge of systems and network security principles and technologies - e.g. encryption, authentication, remote access and virtual private networking
· Sector based experience would be preferable (Energy and or Telecoms)
· Ability to deliver against set objectives and to deadlines
· Great communication skills
· Security Clearance may be required
The Telecoms / Network Architect role is contract based and initially for three months. It is based in Gloucester with some requirement to travel to other sites.
