Position Summary Position Summary As an Architect, you?ll have the opportunity to design the next generation advanced platform for Walmart Global eCommerce. You will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale software applications as well as serve as the technical guide for the development teams. You will help the group to achieve the following objectives: 1. SAMPLE 1 Development and execution of a global strategy for e-Commerce. 2. SAMPLE 2 Establishing cross-functional and cross-border Walmart relationships designed to accelerate and broaden our growth in the global online channel. 3. SAMPLE 3 The creation of technology platforms and applications that can be used effectively in every Walmart market. Position Description Position Description ? Demonstrates application or system concepts ? Oversees the development of conceptual, logical, or physical systems-related hardware or software designs ? Assists in the design of new systems or the redesign of existing systems to meet business requirements, changing needs, or newer technology ? Implements strategies for service enabled technologies (for example, service oriented architecture) ? Implements product development strategies using Agile development processes ? Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates ? Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity ? Ensures business needs are being met ? Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for technical architecture of hardware or software systems
