If you are an Python/Django web developer who enjoys being super-productive and wants to work on really interesting, high traffic websites, this might just be the job for you.
REQUIRED:
- 4-7 years hands on web development experience in Python.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages: Python, Scala, Ruby, Java.
- Experience with one or more web development framework: Django, Celery,rabbitmq
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and related frameworks)
- A degree in technology related field, or relevant experience
PLUSES:
- 3+ years Django experience
- Understanding of Python best practices (PEP-8)
- Been a presenter at a Django or Python meet up (nice to have)
- Experience with other Python frameworks: Pylons, Flask, Pyramid, Zope, Plane
- Been part of (or better yet, led) an Agile project
- Enjoyed the fruits of Solr, Haystack, or Celery
- Developed Django apps that we can find on GitHub
- A degree in a field more interesting than Computer Science
