We are currently working with one of our phenomenal architectural partners who is seeking a residential CAD drafter. This is initially a contract position though there is good opportunity for permanent employment. The qualified candidate will have multiple years experience as a residential CAD drafter This position is in N Austin TX and pays at 16ph Job Description: Knowledge: Provide visual guidelines and show how to construct a product or structure. Drawings include technical details and specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. Fill in technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations made by engineers, surveyors, architects, or scientists. Knowledge of standardized electrical building techniques to drawing the details of structures. Understanding of engineering theory and standards to draw design elements, such as conduit assemblies, light fixture assemblies, switchgear elevations, support methods for all types of apparatuses Knowledge of use of BIM include the integration of the 3D modeling with estimating, project schedule, electronic product data attributes, and record documents. Document control for items such as RFI¿s, ASI¿s, Drawing Logs, Submittals, and Operation Maintenance Manuals for coordination, construction, and final records. Experience Knowledge of Autodesks 2009 AutoCAD 3D. Knowledge of Autodesk Rivit or NavisWorks for collision conflict avoidance.
