Architecture Design Flooring Sales
Description:
Our client, a successful residential flooring importer contractor, has an opportunity for an Architectural Design Flooring Sales Representative. This is a growing company located in the downtown core with a territory of the GTA. The position is paying a base salary of $40 - $60K, depending on experience with an overall yearly compensation plan of $70 - $100K as well as mileage allowance and health dental benefits.
Applicants must demonstrate 3 years proven success in new business development sales and must possess outside sales experience in residential interior finishes industry calling on interior designers, architects, developers, and/or contractors.
Applicants should have excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills, and be highly organized with excellent time management ability. Ideal candidates should have a track record of being ambitious and goal oriented with a strong desire and commitment for sales success. We are looking for a team player who has a record of achieving company and team objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Account Manager will:
- proactively prospect and network to acquire new architect, designer and contractor accounts and increase awareness of our brand and products in the construction industry,
- develop and maintain strong relationships with these companies through regular contact,
- meet face to face with the key decision makers to introduce our products, educate them on the advantages of our products and to explain the benefits of selecting our client for their projects,
- be responsible to identify and qualify new projects and opportunities, and to problem solve to determine which products best suit the needs of the customer,
- be responsible to provide end-to-end turnkey flooring solutions for their accounts.
In addition, the A D Sales Representative is responsible to enter and maintain detailed activity and progress logs through our web based CRM program.

We offer a competitive base package plus an attractive commission structure. A mileage allowance and health dental benefits are available to qualified employees.
